Sins Rebellion Discount Question

Hi guys

 

I have been waiting in anticipation for this game as I LOVE SINS so much I own a copy of trinity on the game stop app but when i clicked the discount buy it says I require steam to install will it affect the fact that I have sins on the gamestop app and not work on steam if i get the discount or should I just buy the more expensive version on gamestop I really want the discount version as I dont have a lot of cash I look forward to your reply so I can buy the game quick and get playing!!!

I had forgotten about the discount until just earlier today.   However, when I've tried buying it directly from the Stardock website (the link that was provided above) I do not get any indication that I'm getting any discount.  I've made sure I'm logged into the site, and I've also confirmed that all of my old Sins games are registered to my account.

Thoughts?

If you are logged in with your account, it should show a price of $29.99.

I have bought the game and as my question stated its not that I don't know where to get the discount the discount shows up just fine it was whether there would be a problem due to the fact that I have sins with game stop app and not steam as it turns out sins rebellion is a stand alone game so its fine to buy it for the discount and install via steam as its a fresh install separate form your original.

Related question:  I have the original games on Impulse/whatever it's called nowadays, and want to get the discounted version of Rebellion, but I can't get the discount to apply.  How do I get the store to give me the discount?

You are in the system and it should apply fine.  make sure you are logged on with the same email you are posting with here.

I just double-checked everything again, even correcting a couple minor issues in my billing information, but whenever I try to add Rebellion to my card, it always comes up at $39.95 (plus $2.40 for tax).

I've looked at my available downloads, and I have all 3 Sins games registered.  The original that's listed as a Download + Retail (it's one of the last games I bought a boxed copy for), with Entrenchment and Diplomacy Download-Only.  All have their respective keycode listed.

I only have the one e-mail address I've ever used for Stardock/Impulse.

Thought: Is it possible the discount isn't applied//reported until after I punch-in my payment info?  I haven't progressed past that point since I've not seen the discount.

Since that this did work, I did a little more experimentation and I realized what it was I was doing wrong.  I was not clicking on the "login" link on the order page, I was already logged-in via the Stardock/purchase page.

*epic facepalm*

That's what I get when trying fix three different computers at my shop, prepare for my Real-Lfe D&D night, and attempt order Rebellion all at the same time
