weird problem regarding orders

Hi. I was wondering if you could help me with some weird problem that I've encounterred recently while playing rebelion.

Whenever i order my capital ships manually to retreat(jump) from one planet to another, they all go to the border of gravity well, and then some/few caps turn arround attacking random enemy ships. This is second game i'm experiencing this.

Surely, this isnt game breaking, but i'm getting my capital ships destroyed whenever i'm not babysitting them simply because the order issues aren't being fullfilled. Is this any possible bug/glitch in ordering commands? Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have noticed that if you are fighting vs vasari and they have antorak maruader and use phase out hull it seems to mess up qued orders, I find that if you are trying to retreat and you turn of auto attack that should help matters, be careful when against vasari though like phase out hull they have nasty suprises on their caps esp the egg with its gravity bomb as I found out the hard way

Pheonix has pointed out one of the biggest issues facing retreating caps...another is how phase jumping works...

Ships have to be on the edge of a gravity well, but they also have to be close enough to the phase lane...what happens is that a cap will approach a phase line but its target position is the very edge of the 45 degree "cone" that you must be in to phase jump...ships do take time to decelerate, and what'll happen is that the cap will get to the edge, overshoot (because it has to decelerate), do a near 180 to get back in the cone, then do another 180 to face the planet it needs to jump to...

It is a very bad problem for retreating caps and the best thing you can do is order your cap to go to the center of the cone, then phase jump...

aaaah so thats how that works, thank you I will be doing that in the future because as advent if my shields start going down I need to get out of dodge as quickly as possible
