Can I run rebellion?

I have a relatively new computer, a toshiba laptop. I have had sins trinity for a while, and it plays very nicely on my computer. According to system requirements lab, I am not able to play sins Rebellion due to my video card. According to the same service though, I shouldn't be able to play sins trinity. Is there a good chance I will be able to run Rebellion, because I want to get the game, but if i can't run the game, I'm not interested in purchasing. My laptop meets all the recommended requirements, save the video card. Would this game be playable even though the video card is said not to work by System Requirements lab?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

We'd need to know what video chipset it actually has to say that.

If I have read this correctly, it has the the intel C200 chipset. However, That is my best guess, as i really am not sure what I'm looking for.

And a best guess would be fine. I am having my doubts about System Requirements Lab. It says I shouldn't be able to play Trinity, but that runs beautifully on my computer. If the C200 wasn't what you were looking for, I can try again.

Thanks

Intel chipsets kind of suck to be honest. But if you were able to play trinity with it, you should definitely be able to play Rebellion since it runs much smoother.

C200 sounds a bit off--that's a Xeon server chipset, so it's not that likely to show up in a laptop.

Please post a dxdiag report. You can do so by:

Click Start->Run-> type in dxdiag and click OK.

Once it finishes, click the Save All button, give it a name, then open that file up in Notepad, copy+paste everything to pastebin.com or similar, and post the link here (please do not paste the report directly here as very long texts like that can make the page difficult to read).

Looks like you have a Core i3 built-in chipset.  The game will probably run on lowest settings.

Alright, thanks. I run trinity on the highest settings and have never had any problems. Thanks, and I will probably be getting the game in the next few days.

I have everything the game should need, except the Systems Requirements lab negative on the video card.

Again, thanks

Heck, I have integrated graphics for a 4-year old Core Duo (yikes I need to upgrade!) and Rebellion runs fine with no shadows and medium settings. You'll be fine.

Okay, so if you can run Trinity, you should have no trouble at all. :)

I'm running Rebellion on a Dell Inspiron Desktop, I had to turn the shadows off, but it runs smoothly on High settings.
