Making a Mod for Voice-Over during Tutorial

Hello, first off awesome game, enjoying it so far.

2nd, I have only really played others mods in this series in the past and not tried much myself with Sins. But I am wondering if I could record some audio files of me saying the tutorial subtitles (like in Galactic Civilization2 how the tutorials are voiced) and make it so when new players do teh tutorial its voiced instead of just written out.

Anyways, I have a very good studio mic for recording instruments/singers and I have done a few things in the past for voice work (crysis mod, some arma2 mods,etc..) and would like to make the tutorial voiced for those who want it!

Now I know most will not want this mod or will think its a bad idea, but I know a few people who are still learning the series that would like this mod if I made it.


Any tips? Anyone want to help? Thanks in advance for any advice and once again to the devs, nice work on the game!

I can offer voice work and some original instrumentals in any mods if anyone wants some help. Those are really the only two things I can offer, but hey might help someone!

To be honest, I think most of the stuff that makes the tutorial work are hard coded. We can't even get those text boxes to appear on our own maps, let alone add voices narrating them. :S

That said, if you still want to put that voice equipment and experience to use, I know at least one mod would love some voice acting help. :P
