I now have the normal Sins retail edition. Would there be a possibility to buy the 3 expansions? because on the online store i can only buy trinity (original + 2 exp) and since i already have the original that's quite a waste. would buying rebellion automatically give me the previous 2 exp?

Rebellion contains all of the content and does not require any of the previous releases. So if you want to get up to date, just buy Rebellion. If you have an earlier version of the game already registered, logging in and purchasing here should grant you a $10 discount.
Yeah, Rebellion is stand alone with all the expansions. The only thing you'd want Entrenchment and Diplomacy by themselves for is for any mods, but they are updating themselves as quickly as they can.
