Advent Rebels Eradica Titan "Instant" Level 10?

Okay, so my issue is dealing with the Advent Rebel titan. I don't know whether this is a bug or what, but SEVERAL times after I destroyed a cruel AI's level 10 titan (which has the invincibility ability) ten minutes later, the same titan popped up again! Now, I could understand the AI being able to pump out new titan in ten minutes, and maybe have it to level two or three...but this "new" titan, not but ten minutes after having destroyed their last one, is a level 10. Am I missing something here, or is their titan able to respawn at a planet with its level still intact? This is getting frustrating because I can't break their lines with that damned thing always phase jumping to where I am: it rips my smaller units to shreds.

The titan keeps its level even if its killed. I find it super retarded as well but a lot of people on the forums will speak otherwise... I dont what the devs are smoking but it ought to be damn good because the balance in this game is the worst i have ever seen in an RTS game... I mean a Titan can solo almost everything, why build smaller units? It just feeds it levels..

Imo it should lose 1 level when it dies.

In very long single player games, this can be true because you're really not playing to win. You want to enjoy yourself, watch some fleet battles, have fun. But in competitive play, everyone goes for the win ASAP. Love level titans can be killed quite easily by a better fleet with a few good caps or even just a starbase. Its a rare thing for a titan to hit level 10 there, and if you get one to 10 you probably deserve to win. And if titans didn't keep their levels, you probably wouldn't get a chance to level up another titan again.

I found a way to mod the titan set up so that they don't keep their levels however, so I suspect someone will finally get around to making one eventually.

A war has multiple fronts, and Titans can only be at one place at any one time. If an enemy Titan is advancing on one front, meet it with your own Titan, defenses and some capital ships while you send your frigates to hit another front.

This issue is being ignored by the devs.

Any ship that keeps it level after death gamebreaking..and for it to be the biggest unit....

They have to play the official game. Single players can get mods.

Yeah, because Ironclad Online doesn't allow mods for some bizarre reason. ;P

Besides, how will a well-balanced game be detrimental to singleplayer?

When its just you or friends you can agree on a mod. For multiplayer you can't have that diversity. There has to be some agreed on version of the game, and what better than the official one forced on you.

Regardless of MP, or not the % is not a real issue I give a shit about...it's the Titans keeping their levels.

I actually lost a Level 10 Titan in a late night stupar, and when I was able to click my way thru to level 10 with my new Titan, it felt like I was cheating.

So does this level permanency hold for all titans then? So if I lose my TEC Loyalist titan, it will pop back up as a level 10 again?

Yes, all titans work this way. You don't have to worry about training a titan all the way from level 1 again.

If you like it great, if you don't send the devs an e-mail voicing your opinion. Simple as that.
