GF Custom Maps?

Not working

from Sins Forums

I've tried everything on trying to get GF maps to work for rebellion and they aren't! Any help? I've tried the steamapps > galaxy or galaxy forge, nothing.. I've tried User > username > appData blah blah, and that didn't work either. Does there need to be an update to the GF itself in the near future? Or is there a new special secret hidden place i need to put the maps? I bought this on steam btw.

The game crashes when my selection tab hits "Galaxy Forge"... any reason for that?

You're probably have an outdated map in that folder.. Unfortunately they got rid of backwards compatibility with Galaxy Forge 3 maps in the last patch, so only maps built specifically for Rebellion will work (there maybe a community map updater program in the works though).

Thanks that makes a bit more sense to me now... So just to clarify... I have to wait for a Galaxy Forge 4 to make and edit some maps? Thats just what I got from that :-/

Galaxy Forge 4 already exists, its in your Rebellion install directory, in your steam app folder.
