Just purchased... was on the fence for awhile...

Hello again...

 

It's been a very long time since I've visited here, but I just puchased Rebellion as a result of the $10 discount for previous Sins owners.

I have to admit, it was the nudge I needed! I'm a huge Sins fan, have all the previous Sins and GalCivs, but was on the fence about Rebellion because of several user reviews stating the price was a touch too high. My thoughts were that if you've never tried the series before, the price was adequate. However, I just picked up Entrenchment and Diplomacy a little over a year ago, so Rebellion's pricetag seemed a little high to me.

It actually seemed a little ironic, since I was checking out Ironclad's website yesterday to see if there were any deals on Rebellion! So the e-mail discount was a very pleasant surprise!

Thank you Ironclad/Stardock! Can't wait to try it out!

Make sure to really really look at all the new features added by the tech tree...don't be deceived, some of them fundamentally change the strategy of the game...they may look trivial but they are in fact huge changes...

Vasari rebels and loyalists play completely different than from before, and Titans as a whole fundamentally change fleet compositions and strategies...

Hope you enjoy the game...and never forget that there will soon be lots of mods to try!
