Playing original after Rebellion?

So rebellion is my first outing to this game series. And I'm loving it. 

 

But the original game with expantions are tempting mostly becasue of the mod sacrefice of angels 2.

A huge trekkie fan, this mood really does seem like the ultimate star trek game, even if it's only a mod.

But how is the game, I'm not that concernd with the model graphics, but how is the interface and effects.

 

Is the game still easy to play and impressive even if it's slightly dated graphics wise?

Most mods are planning/in the process of porting over to Rebellion. I'd suggest checking whether specific mods are planning to port before buying Trinity.

Well I bought the game before getting any answers and I'm not disapointed, every thing was as in rebelliion, and the graphics was actualy better then I expected
