Idea - endless space mod

Just putting the idea out there. Endless space it a great 4X game but its too slow pace for me, particularly the combat. I much prefer real time control of fleets.

 

Anyone else like this idea?

Possibility of being backlashed by their community.

I wouldn't look highly of a mod from another current 4x game for this one.

Besides Endless Space can never be accomindated for Sins. Gameplay mechanics are too different to even make a attempt of a mod.

Games in Sins can last as long as 8 to 10 hours on a 75 planet system.  That's not slow paced?

On a side note, speed is fine as long as the presentation is good, and I still feel like I'm "progressing" in some form.

It's still in development and in some ways might be better than SOASE'R.

If you like a very deep complex game than Endless Space is the better choice but the slowness of it might turn people off. You'll find it hard for CnC and Starcraft guys to get themselves into that let alone SOASE.

It depends on your play style and preferences.

If you like speed but 4x but not overwelming you go SOASE'R. If you like to pace yourself and have full control over everything then go Endless Space.
