Can't even start the game

Trying to submit a ticket and this is the only thing I can think of to do.

I can't even start the game. I dbl click the icon or run through steam and nothing. I get a box saying "An error has caused Sins to stop working correctly. A report on this error has been logged for the developer."

That's it. Nothing else.

I have a new laptop that plays everything very well including Civ V, Rift, Diablo III etc. What's going on here?

Sins Rebellion or Sins Trinity?

Sins Trinity always had issues with steam.

I am experiencing exactly the same problem. I have all versions of Sins installed (SOASE, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy through Impulse/GameStop) and they run fine. However, Rebellion through Steam won't start, and craps out with a minidump each time.

I've also got a new laptop that plays everything else well.
