Akkan Battlecruiser invulnerable all the time... fleets will not die

How do I stop Akkan Battlecrusiers from using Armistice? I have a few hundred ships primary it but I can't put a dent in it because the entire fleet becomes invulnerable and my superior fleet slowly gets its weaker ships picked off before that stupid ability kicks in. I have tried everything, My ships will not disable its abilities and its very annoying.

Don't let them hit level six? Your own ships also become invulnerable if you stay close to it, so you shouldn't be getting anything picked off. Once it wears off you should destroy the Akkan ASAP.

Now three Akkans can keep armistice going forever potentially (at least they used to, I thought this was fixed in Rebellion). In this case you should retreat most of your fleet, only leaves what you need to destroy one Akkan. The AI will only use Armistice if it thinks it will lose, so using a smaller fleet can be a good answer. Once you destroy one or disable the abilities of them all (I.e. with a Trio of Kortuls), send your main fleet back in and finish them off.

Sustained drain of AM probably your best bet.

Bombers? IIRC SC are not effected by Armistice.

No but everything else is. So the Akkan would be untargetable.

The AI lost to a military defeat however they just keep using perma Armistice to stay in a perma draw and pretty much nothing can be done to their antimatter. I built about 100 support ships that disable abilities and it doesn't work. I am the Vasari and those pesky humans just don't want to die even though they are already dead with no homeworld. :/

Frig disables dont work against capitals. only capital disables work against capitals. >_<

My caps and cruisers were not doing anything to them. So I just left it as a millitary defeat. Couldn't make them extinct. :(

I went back and used the dev console to turn off their caps abilities and they fell like a ton of rocks. lol No more humans! \o/

You know, in the next version of my mod Carbon I think I'm going to give all the TEC abilities prerequisites. Every single one of them. And just for the TEC. It will make them rely on raw numbers like they are supposed to. ;P
