A lot of questions!

Hello everyone,

I just recently purchased soase:Rebellion, now i thought i could jump straight into it and mod the bad boy up make my own maps and everything, but alas, i could not!! When i try to load a galaxy forge3 map it crashes with a run time error, but i have the latest run time, i also only bought the game today so surely it should be up to date?!


So what i would like to know is ...

If galaxy forge 3 won't let me make maps that work for Rebellion, then what can i use to do so?

I looked on this page for Bailknight info : https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/422008

and also: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/sins_mods/143/ when i put the BK folder in the mod folder for Rebellion the game just crashes.

I can't seem to figure out what the problem is here?!?


If there's anyone who know's the answer to these questions please help!!

Galaxy Forge 4 comes with Rebellion. Check your files.

Rebellion made major changes to the particle effects. Bailknights needs some serious updating before it works with Rebellion.

OK, it might be because its too early but i not sure i have the correct files. 

 

I bought the game with steam and downloaded it via steam. according to steam my file ares in: My Documents/My Games/Iron clad/Sins of a solar empire Rebellion/ 

But when i look in there i don't see galaxy forge4, it does have a galaxy forge folder but it is empty ???

 

Did i install incorrectly?

Vintish: in My Documents/My Games/Iron clad/Sins of a solar empire Rebellion/GalaxyForge is where you put the maps you made. GalaxyForge 4 is in C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\sins of a solar empire rebellion\Galaxy Forge(might be a little different for you tho, depending on where you installed steam)

I've found it! Now i don't have to uninstall everything and go over it all over again LOL


Thanks a bunch dude!! I suppose i'll just have to wait for an updated version of Bailknight i guess
