Strange Refinery Bug? no income from adjacent systems

I couldn't find another post on this so I hope this is unique.  I have Sins Rebellion v1.031.

According to https://www.sinsofasolarempire.wikia.com/wiki/Orbital_Refinery, a refinery built around a planet increases the income for that planet AND ADJACENT planets.  However, I've never actually seen an adjacent planet's refinery income rise.  For example, in these screenshots:  http://imgur.com/a/ROt9N you see my planet Alcari.  The selected extractor correctly shows it is being serviced by 3/3 refineries which are in an adjacent system.  However, no refinery income is reported for Alcari.  I tried building a refinery actually at Alcari later, and only then did it display refinery income (enough for 1 refinery) with the extractor saying 4/3.

Could someone else confirm this or am I crazy?  Thanks for readin =)

Refinery income is reported via the location of the refinery....if only planet X has a refinery, then only planet X will report refinery income...it still is using the nearby planets' extractors, but the income comes from the refinery, not the extractors, so only the planet with the refinery can have refinery income....

Thank you so much for clarifying, I get it now!

Yeha thanks. Here I was putting refineries on every bloody planet (that doesn't have a trade lane / media hub / ship yard)

Do you usually stack your ship yards?

For Vasari, since you have phase stabilizers it's often best to put your factories on one or two planets near your interior...I tend to pick deserts and/or planets near wormholes or the star (if multistar map)...

For other races, frontliners really should have 2 or 3 factories on their frontline planet...the problem with spreading out your factories is that you get lots of "stragglers" that can get picked off while moving to the right place...
