Startbase Upgrades

Hi there. I've been looking around for the answer to this but I can't seem to find it. How do I make it so that I can get all the upgrades for a starbase? What files should I modify and how? It looks like editing with notepad does not work.

I don't believe it's possible, at least in diplomacy.  Don't know about rebellion

You could however do the same thing by making only one upgrade for each stack but making the upgrade do it all.  (make the armaments upgrade for TEC bases add missles and beams with only one upgrade)

Open the starbase's file in Notepad (note: this assumes you are properly making this into a mod and are using converted reference files), go to the line called "maxUpgradeLevelCount". Increase this number and you will be able to purchase more upgrades for your SB.

Actually Starbase upgrades are the only upgrades we can change. Caps and titans are hard coded.

for an otherwise standard set of starbase upgrades limits you only need 15 upgrades,

BUT if you have added extra levels to the various upgrades then you will need a larger max upgrade count.

Actually, you'll need 20. The Advent's SB, at least in Ent, has a maximum of 20 upgrades avaliable, last time I checked. Might have miscounted, mind you.
