I had a strange problem running the game for the first and second time.

First time: Game exited unexpectedly upon launch

Second time: The game launched fine, but upon making a few adjustments to the detail levels in the options menu, the game started to "stutter" in a way I've never seen before in a game. It would disappear showing my desktop, then go back into the game a second later, and then disappear again, and so on. Over and over.

The game wasn't playable at all but just wanted to say that following your suggestion, and deleting the sins folder in My Games fixed it up for me! Thanks kryo!
