So i bought Rebellion and Trinity on STEAm and it won';t let me open either one. I click play on the steam menu and the screen goes black and then nothing. Says there was an error.
Possible bad download. Or you may need to force a new set of graphic card drivers. In other words go the website of your graphics card and download and install the drivers yourself. For some reason the current "Auto Install" causes a conflict with this game.
I had a problem with this as well back in Beta. Your firewall may be blocking the download of the .exe file.
Most likely you need to update your video drivers to the latest available on the card manufacturer's website. Do not rely on OEM updaters or windows update, as these pretty much never actually provide the latest drivers.
