This mouse bug is pretty much stopping me from playing

I recently installed Rebellion, though the same bug is happening on Trinity.  When I'm in game, as soon as I start it my mouse decides to bug out on me.  It acts as though I'm always trying to scroll in the direction my mouse is moving.  It doesn't matter where I am, whether its in the middle or near the edge(though I know part of it is edge scrolling, and turning that option on and off hasn't affected it at all).  I've tried re-installing it and uninstalling/reinstalling my mouse drivers but its hasn't worked.  The only thing that's fixed it is when I've just removed my mouse drivers completely.  However, the problem after that is when I leave the game my mouse doesn't work at all.  So after painstakingly getting the deleted driver files back into the appropriate folder with just my keyboard (that was an adventure let me tell you.. lol)  it has returned to moving everything whenever I try to move my mouse and it makes it almost impossible to select anything easily.  Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone have a solution?

I've seen other player's with this problem, the only time when I have this issue is when it's in windowed mode. Is this the case otherwise, I don't know...

My mouse problem involves the zooming...I try to zoom out and it "flickers" in and out...like it doesn't want me zooming out...its irritating. Tried posting about this problem a while ago before, and I just got stupid answers...

"Get a new mouse."

...and someone actually got this reply: "Get a cat." ...Seriously? :/

Have you tried sending an e-mail to [email protected]? They are usually very helpful in doing all they can to help rectify any issues.

This has nothing to do with edge scrolling, it's your middle mouse button, depress it and this is the functionality you get in game, just like if you depress it over a web page.

 

It sounds to me like you're clicking it while the game loads.  Key press during startup results in a stuck send, pressing it again unsticks it.

 

If you're not, then you have either a buggered mouse or buggered drivers.  Try a reinstall instead of putting the same driver file back.
