Replay time thread

I dedicate this thread to all my replays of games I decide to post. So if you are interested keep checking back....

How to watch them?

  1. download file from the link provided 
  2. extract .rar file to C:\Users\{name}\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\AutoRecord-MultiPlayer     {you need to have program like WinRAR ZIP or 7ZIP to do that}
  3. start a game 
  4. go to single player
  5. click on watch button tab 
  6. keep clicking on change save type button until you get to Multiplayer auto-recorded games 
  7. find the file name that you extracted in step 2
  8. Click on watch button
While you are watching game you can change speed of reply, player you are watching by scrolling throughout research screens you can see what technology and when it was researched. By holding alt and zoomed in you can see micromanagement of ships (move and attack orders). 
And best of all you can see chat of players....

Keep up the great work! Replays like these actually show people that are new to the game what is possible online and actually teach us something.

Also reduces the amount of unnecessary threads made here if the newbies watch it.

Most newbs don't know how to load reply to run it

If someone describes what needs to be done i will gladly copy paste it and take all credit :P. Im just to lazy to do it myself.

ok I'm getting annoyed lol, I have watched replays before I downloaded the files, then moved them to the auto record multi player folder, loaded game went to single player, watch game, and went to correct folder, the multi auto, and there is nothing there?

Are you unpacking them In rebellion folder or do you have them in original sins folders. Rebellion in win 7 is in folder is under 

C:\Users\{name of user}\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion 

I'm thinking win XP should be under my documents as well

yeah they are in the correct folder, they are around 200 kb files .rar files or w/e and they are in the multi auto record folder

They shouldn't still be .rar files...they should have been extracted...

1 Noob on each side.... Game was eventually decided by massive lag due to CPU issues of a player and md or quit of fluid...

Sounds a lot like the game I was in yesterday night. Eventually my game just dropped because my router was having issues... :annoyed:  We were going to win, so that really sucked...

There is another one up.

At the end of the game once i dispatch my guy I think blue guy is AR and you can see how I attack him. It turns out he is AL but I use same strategy against pink
