sorry for the topic title.... but it needs to get some attention.
So, why does the main weapon of the most firepower heavy ship in the game need a buff?

As you can see, the gaus damage is very close to the main rail gun. Yes, thats right, those 6 puny turrets do nearly as much damage as a 20 km long rail gun that fires slugs the size of frigates at tremendous speed.
Quick Gauss Capacitors further reduce the damage difference and Highly Conductive Rails beefs up the range by a nice margin.
I henceforth propose the the Gaus Guns are nerfed by 30 % and that their lost damage is transferred directly to the main rail gun.
This would not make any difference when dealing with target direct in front of your Titan. The damage would be exactly the same.
It would however make a difference when you are not in front of the Ragnarov, which is a wise thing to do.
Lore/Physics justification:
If 2 more gaus turrets could actually outclass a 20 km long rail gun, little point in the design then. They just could build an Ankylon copy with 16 gaus guns instead, it would have more firepower.
It does look stupid.... all those gaus hits and then a broadside from the main gun..... and the additional damage is barely noticable.
Balancing justification:
One of the reasons the Ankylon does suffer so lot im comparsions with the Ragnarov is its poor attack vector. The Ankylon can only fire 1 of 4 sides against an enemy on the left side, the Ragnarov however will join in with the gaus guns.
Both Ankylon and Ragnarov have 360 coverage, however the Ragnarov has better coverage, mostly thanks to the Gaus Guns that have a very large attack vector. You cannot avoid them and in as such the Ragnarov is even better than the Anylon once totally surrounded.
Imho the Ragnarov should be more rewarding to flank and it should be more endangered by such a a move. Right now, the Ankylon is even inferior on the defense..... thats not good.
