I was wondering if it is possible to change the map color for a game I play. I want it to be light blue because of my color blindness.

What exactly do you mean by map color? The background "skybox" or what?
If you do mean the skybox, don't different stars have different colored skyboxes?
If you need the entire game in a certain colour, it is probably simplest to change the settings of your monitor or graphic card accordingly.
I think he means the color of his team, in which case he just has to click the logo before his team name and it will open the color/logo charts screen and he can choose the light blue so he can identify his own ships and things.
