Superweapon Autocasting

Not the biggest issue at the moment, but can the devs please set superweapons so their auto-fire feature is toggled to off when they're built?  I don't mind making them able to fire at random targets, but I like to use my superweapons in conjunction with an attack fleet, and it's annoying when I go to fire only to notice that they are all cooling down from their last random target.

They must be set to auto-fire for the AI to use. I know, shutting it off so the AI couldn't use wouldn't be so bad either. Just right-click on the superweapon right after you build one to shut off the auto-fire yourself.

I know that, I just don't get there quick enough sometimes and have to wait.  Very frustrating, especially now that we're limited by number of planets AND tactical slots.....

The AI use Armistice all the time (it's ridiculously annoying to face an AI with a level 6 Akkan lol), I thought that wasn't set to autocast by default?

It's not.  Neither is the Starbase build ability on constructors or quite a few other things now that I think of it...

The AI is "trained" to use some abilities like cap ultimates and SB construction even when the autocast is disabled...but most things the AI will not use unless autocast is on...

Repulsion is a great example of this, the AI doesn't use it unless you mod the game to have it automatically on autocast, then the AI abuses it like none other (though not very intelligently)....superweapons would be the same...

I'm sure you can turn off the auto-cast on superweapons as they are being built......could be wrong but still sure I've done it in past.

No you can't, the button doesn't show up until it's built.  Oh well, I guess I'll just have to watch 'em closer.

But you can turn it off after its completed, as the superweapon will require about 30 seconds to get enough antimatter to fire its first shot.
