The Next Title

Hey I just picked up this game and I have got to say, this is awesome! However I was reading through the journal info and what not and noticed that the next title is to be named Sins of a Dark Age.  I googled it and I'm sorry to say it's already taken by a medieval type game (https://www.sinsofadarkage.com/) I may not be the first to bring this up so sorry for being a repeat if that is the case!

Sins of a Dark Age is another project of Ironclad. Whether or not they will build a new Sins of a Solar Empire 2 is currently unknown but us fans are pushing for it. For now we enjoy the great support of Stardock/Ironclad of the current iteration of Sins of a Solar Empire.

It's known. They wanted a break from Sci-fi and probably wait for the technology of the average user to increase a bit more yet so they can do some truly cool stuff with Sins 2. They've said Rebellion is not the last Sins game planned, but they seem to be taking their time with the next one.
