help please D:

so ive been looking around for a few hours on google.trying to find a mod or an editor that would let me change the player symbols in the player setup. and so far no luck :/ can anyone help me with this? its really bugging me all i want is a wolf head logo or a paw print and its like its the hardiest thing in the world to do D: i would appreciate any help you guys can offer

Really now?

You'll have to make the mod yourself but that's easy to do. Copy the RaceLogos.tga file from your textures folder in the Rebellion install directory. Make yourself a new folder in your mod folder, make a folder called textures in that, and paste the file in the new textures folder.

Open the RaceLogos.tga file in an image editor. The player symbols are the ones in grey scale. Make your own symbol in grey scale that's about the same size and replace it over one of the existing symbols. There's also the smaller scaled icons at the bottom that are hard to see, and these are pure white.

Save it and enable your mod in game and you're new logo should replace the old one.

its not the only problem im having ive tried to play the maelstrom mod and stuff and every-time i try to turn on a mod my game ether freezes or crashed....

 

and im going to pull out my hair ive been searching google for an hour and cant find a simple to use tga editor that will just let me copy the image over....i have no idea what a "alpha channel" is...ive never done anything like this before...........

 

 

and i found it...but now everything is ether a box or it doesnt work i give up...
