Rebellion / Galaxy Forge and Windows 8

OK, so I have windows 8, Steam installed, Rebellion installed.  The game works great.

Created a map through the Galaxy Forge supplied with Rebellion.  Love that it autosaves.

Saved my map in the galaxyforge folder in the following locations:

C:\Users\John's Laptop\My Documents\My Games\IronClad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\GalaxyForge

C:\Program Files(X86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Galaxy Forge

 

Map doesn't show up.  What am I doing wrong?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is the correct map location.

Did you check in the galaxy forge tab? Galaxy Forge tabs are put in there own section in the map selection window, not in the existing small/medium/large map sections.

Yeap, also checked the mods tab as well.  Nothing,  This is really weird.  Never had a problem with any of the other SINS games doing this.

I even re-installed SINS and deleted the map out.  The map opens fine in the New forge tools in rebellion just can't get Rebellion to see it so I can open it.  Very frustrating

Hmm, perhaps try downloading a map that's known to work with Rebellion. For lack of anything better I'll just nominate my own.

Well yours works.  And I opened your file up to see what was different and it was right there staring at me.  Browsable was set to FALSE.  Who would of known.

I'm having a similar problem however my maps Browsable setting is set to true already. Any ideas?

We're still talking about Rebellion, and you are using the galaxy forge in the Steamapp folder right?
