Blank Screen / Broken Sound

When I try to launch the game, I get no video and the screen goes blank.  During what I assume is the intro movie, I get broken sound (and no video) and then if I hit ESC to skip the movie, presumably the game goes to the main menu, but again there is still no video.  I have to Alt-Tab out and close the game from the task bar.

I've read the forum posts and my video drivers are up to date and I've recently rebooted.  Here are some relevant technical specs if it helps:

Video Card: NVidia 560 Ti 448 Cores -1.2g video memory

NVidia Drivers: 306.97

Resolution: 2560x1600 (I've tried bumping the system down to a lot of lower resolutions, all with the same result)

Windows 7 (all SP & Updates)

i7 2700k, 32g RAM, lots of free drive space 

 

What do I need to do to get the game running? If I need to submit a debug.err file, where is it located?

Should I expect a response on this thread, via email or not at all?  Is this a case of "we're gathering information but have no idea why this is happening?"

What should the next step be to figure out what it is I need to do to be able to play?
