Hi guys I just downloaded this game but everytime I try and start it I get a black screen followed by a minidump error. Any suggestions?
Well, reinstalling is probably the first thing to try. If that doesn't do it, try going into your steamapp directory, find the game's .exe file, then run the file right above that called. "Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Dev.exe".
Thanks for the advice unfortuantely its still a no go....
If the dev.exe did not give you warning, that probably means the game downloaded fine. Have you checked that your graphics card drivers are up to date? Apparently that's the other main cause of minidumps at launch.
