for rebellion, the correct galaxyforge is the galaxyforge in the 'steamapps/sins...rebellion/galaxy forge' folder and the maps should be placed in the 'my documents/my games/sins...rebellion/galaxyforge' folder.

the galaxy forge from the downloads page is only for vanilla/entrenchment/diploamcy and rebellion refuses to read the maps it creates, BUT I have a beta (not released yet as a full release as I suspect that it might have some issues with non-english language windows and untill Iget some feedback from users that are using rebellion on a non-english windows with my utility) map updater that can update maps from ALL previous mapversions to the mapversion 4 (with the limits that mapversion 4 has ie each planet/star MUST specify both the minimum distance, hyperspace radius and max navicable radius in the map(instead of the MOD supplying) (I use the default numbers from the stars and colonisable planets)) and it is in this reply of my map updater thread
