Vasari's Assailant- Possible guess to their enemy

Vasari's Assailant- Possible guess to their enemy

Who or what is their enemy?

I was looking one day on a post about the Vasari's unknown enemy, on the Sins Rebellion category, and I saw a possible theory as to what the Vasari's enemy was- and I added on to it using some theorizing and some heavy thinking as well as more thinking added on to that. Here's what was posted and what I said underneath it.

"The only evidence we have about their existence is that they are something of the Vasari's own making, have been chasing them for the past 10,000 years, drive the Vasari that see them insane, destroyed the Vasari Empire, what is on the Kultorask's underside (provided this is actually something and not just us seeing what we want to see), and that there is some other clue hidden somewhere in the .exe which apparently should only take about 7 minutes to find.

Anyways, the pic of the Kultorask's underside is this:

This can be interpreted a couple different ways that I can see.  The first is one that portrays a Vasari (white) and a chaser (blue) in which the Vasari appears to be alarmed as the chaser attempts to eat it.

The second option has a Vasari head (white) with the chaser (blue) where it appears that the chaser is some sort of infection that walks around in a decapitated Vasari head.  Alternatively, this could just be an image of a Vasari face (my personal view) and the "chaser" is just the lines that happen to be nearby to make the ship look cool.

When compared to the original Vasari head, it IMO makes this option more likely simply as it's a better resemblance."

I'd have to agree with the second picture shown by your reply. I read the manual- "...Crew was found driven mad with fear..." And It suggests that the Vasari crew found on that ship would HAVE to have been infected, bringing up the question- what is this enemy that infects them, driving them insane? or WHO? But then again, this question's ALREADY answered FOR us, right? On the case- "...An ancient empire running from a terror of it's own creation..." These two things suggest that not only did the Empire create it, but also signed the deal to their own doom. If this infection led to the insanity of the crew, and the second picture shows this, then my best guess would be that the Empire was trying to create some sort of living organism that ensures maximum loyalty to the Empire, but it went terribly wrong, leading to absolute failure, and thus, the destruction of the Empire from within. This could possibly be my best guess as to what it was that the Empire was running from, as well as what it MUST have been DESIGNED for. If you guys agree, then we might just have another enemy to await in the climax of this epic game series.

The paragraph above this is my post, and it's a POSSIBLE guess. I'm only posting this here to see if it's likely, or not, depending on your opinions, should you post. If it's unlikely, then post if it is, also post. I'm hoping to see some people who not only agree or disagree, but even hope to know what the enemy is the Vasari is running from. Thanks!! =)

Dr. Goa Fanner: Modder; Forum Poster. Searching for a way to tap into the hidden strengths that all humans have. Then an accidental overdose of gamma radiation from proximity to Mecha-Lenin's bum alters his body chemistry. And now when Goa Fanner grows irked or outraged, a startling metamorphosis occurs. The creature is driven by a strong sense to correct grammar and pursued by several forum posters who want answers.
[Fanner:] "Mr. Poster, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

The creature is wanted for a series of forum posts that troll trolls. Goa Fanner is believed to be dead, and he must let the world think that he is dead, until he can find a way to control the raging spirit that dwells within him.

Does it count if it's self inflicted? Would that just be an unusual form of BDSM?

creation can mean many things. take a money for instance. a human hands it a fork. teaches it to eat. there for creating a sence of inteligence in what we call inteligent. its posible there running froma  race they helped evolve. no 1 empire can stand alone. been proven in history many times. could also be a slave race tht evolved rapidly. if there are any clues. it would be on the titans and the corvets. but have u noticed how deferently the ships from the dark fleet look compared to the ships u build while playing the vas. not to mention they said it wold be in the coding. does not nesisarly mean just tht race. could be clues on any faction. or all 3 for tht madder. just my thoughts

I couldn't agree more with you. He is right that the devs don't really know because there still writing out the lore, fixing the story but what we do know is the following:

The vasari don't know whose chasing them so we can rule out there own inventions and discoveries turning against them.

We can also rule out a different cast of their race or foe.

We know that they sent a fleet that was battered by their foe so was either a super weapon or a fleet that did that to them. A fleet of what--? Manned ships, drones, ponies, space creatures and Nano bots? This we don't know so its safe to assume even the possibility of the dark fleet being turned against each other-even the whole vasari empire.

What we do know is the enemy they are facing is much more different.. Whether the difference is technology is also a mystery because it could be numbers, it could be they reside in a different existence, realm, dimension and spectrum of light (invisible enemy)..

What i have said doesn't exactly rule out anything because the vasari could have an idea who is chasing them even though the vasari don't know whose chasing. (some kind of conspiracy within the ranks).

As you can imagine what i have said could be very confusing but in all honesty i find that they are endless possibilities to who could be chasing the vasari so discussing it here is an endless troll fest or a pool of nicely written educated guesses. Either way im pro trolling for good or for bad.

Now Oddski, that's the guy you seem to confuse me with. You see, he's the one with all those ponies. Or bronies, or whatever he calls them. His avatar seems to be a bit like yours...

And I would have thought somepony would have found that clue by now...I mean, they said it would be easy, didn't they?  I'd look myself, but you see, I have this condition called "No" that always seems to rear it's ugly head whenever I try to exert some effort...

As I said, this whole forum deal is just a POSSIBLE guess, never said what it WAS. All I used was 2 pieces of (maybe hard) evidence to support my theory, which is the crew went mad on that ship, and the enemy being something of the Vasari's own creation. Which means that the experiment didn't HAVE to go public, think of it as the SR-71 Blackbird, everyone thought that it was a UFO- turns out, it was one of our fastest planes in the world, reaching shining sea to shining sea in a time span of 7 hours- the fastest any plane went in that century. So, like that, the Vasari research team must have kept it secret only between them and the public, and kept it known between them and the emperor (whether if they had one or not [most likely, otherwise they wouldn't be called an "empire" or so I think]).

But, in honesty, your right. This is starting to become a pool of educated guesses...

I played Sins normal, but I found no difference in design from them and their normal counterparts. So, is the difference only found in Rebellion, because I don't have that game yet. I'd very much like to see a screenshot of the frigates and cruisers next to their counterparts to see the difference of look between them with a description of what's different in case I don't see it. Thanks. ;)

The hint was supposed to be in the game code, why are people looking at the in-game ships?

Well, let's just say im not that much of a techy, to be honest. So, I don't pay any attention to what's meant about the coding.

To me, it implies that the hint was hidden in one of the game files, or the core code itself.  If it was something one could see in-game, they would not have bothered saying it was in the code, they would just have said that hints were in the game.
