Are these things strong enough? It's like fighting a capital ship trying to take just one of these pests out. How many times are they going to be buffed??

They are light armor cruisers which fall to fighters, scouts, corvettes, flak and Heavy cruisers.
I find that fighters do a really good job of taking them out before they get to your defenses.
However, if Adjudicators are giving you problems, you probably don't have enough of a fleet and are relying too heavily on static defenses. Add in a combination of repair cruisers, flak, and carriers at your choke point and you should do much better.
I'll try that. I had everything researched on a battle against 6 hards and I swear there were 6 bombers with an enemy Titan and a few drone carriers--had 3 capital ships and a titan with strike craft attacking these starfish and the things took forever to die!

Anyway, altho they do a lot of dps, they are easy to take down as long as you have a fleet. And titans tend to do very well too.
Yeah, you read that correctly. I am a shameless advocate of online multiplayer PvP.
When in the hands of the resource cheating AI, adjudicators can be quite fearsome....because the AI has more resources, the expense and fleet supply of adjudicators isn't a hindrance at...while massed adjudicators would require a major sacrifice on the part of a human player (mainly normal fleet), the AI feels no such burden...they can spam these things alongside a large fleet and wreak havoc...biggest problem is that they quickly wipe multiple repair bays while simultaneously laying down fire on the SB...
Not a problem to deal with on Unfair, but you get up to Cruel or Vicious and living without SBs, though possible, is very difficult...if multiple cruel/vicious are attacking you, you almost certainly will be crutching on SBs...sure, ogrovs do more damage to the SB, but they don't hit the SB while simultaneously wiping all your nearby structures (most importantly, repair bays and factories)....if going against a high level AI, the only thing the only thing that concerns me more than massed adjudicators is a high level titan...
Sometimes I play Advent just to get my hands on a squadron of Solanus Adjudicators and go blow stuff up. Very satisfying.
