Last time I played a 2v2, had my ally Champ against two strange stat noobs (10 games 10 wins both, so probably smurfs thats why we were allied against them), things were going well, the two noobs were unsurprisingly not that noobs.. but not this is the main thing.
After like an hour of gaming Champ paused the game for minutes, I guess he had something important to do because he didn't tell why he paused, after some minutes one player named Crimson Tide (or something similar) unpaused the game and easily defeated Champ's fleet that wasn't controlled (he had colonized planets between the two smurfs that needed full attention from him to handle well). What to say I left after this, I won't play with stupid players who cheat to weaken my ally this way while he is not looking....
So the question, what is the proper way of handling pauses? Is it allowed to unpause the game after like 4 minutes totally f*cking the other team up and completely ruining the otherwise good challenging game because someone has something important to do?
I was quite angry after this match, am I overreacting?
