in your rebellion.user.setting file change ShowErrors to FALSE.

You'll need to start the dev.exe then exit sins before you change this file as it resets the file contents when you switch between the normal and dev exe.

anyone else have the issue that dev.exe for rebellion doesn't update changes right when you save a file?  fucking thing has issues.  I change file... wait... wait... FFS!  beat on keyboard, then restart rebellion dev.exe.

I miss the quickness of trinity dev.exe versions.

I've had no such problems Ralan. In fact, there are times where I modified, and successfully reloaded, a single dds file multiple times within the span of a minute.

The only times you can't reload files in the dev.exe are

1. You added a file to the manifest files, which do not get reloaded.

2. You are using multiple mods at the same time. I'm not sure what the rules are exactly but I've sometimes had it fail to reload files here.

There maybe a few other files like the manifests that just do not get reloaded, but the vast majority of them can be.

I don't think you can add files period...if the game doesn't start with the a particular file in the mod directory, moving a file there (even if it was already in the manifest) won't work...
