Compilation of All Known Errors

We have a lot of great modding threads out there...we got lists of mods, we got the eclipse plugin (and code google thing), we got guides and guides and guides, we have the Get an Answer thread...

But what we don't have is a really nice list of errors, those annoying pop ups that might as well say "F you, modder!"...

Each modder has their own set of "bugs" they've personally ran into and thus now how to fix...but there's going to come a point where key members of the community may leave and take with them all their debugging knowledge...

I don't want that to happen...

So, I'm thinking we should have a nice list of known errors...I know myfist0 has a few (not sure on the exact number, maybe more than a few) but I'd love to have a huge, uber list with each error we've come across and what it meant...

I understand some errors are very broad and can occur because of a lot of things....but a great many are very specific and are easy to fix if only you know what to fix....

Thoughts?  Participants?  Am I stupid and not aware of an uber list somewhere else?  Would this be helpful to the community?

there is a list of a few but very old and the OP is no longer around. 

You have been here a while so it may be that this can be updated regularly but how would you do it, there may be 1000s, have an OP a mile long? have people search through pages of this thread?

I was going to just have the number in the OP and it links to the web page bookmark, what do you think?

All the numbers will be in order so you can quickly scroll page to your error if it is posted.

Happens when our Borg ships assimilate an enemy ship that is casting an ability, does not cause any bad side effects that are known yet.

Hmmm, can't start a bookmark name with a number , changed to start the with Exxx
And if we do this, it should be in the modding thread

MyFist0, if you have a system that works, I say we use it...

What we need without a doubt is a thread where people can post errors and explain how to fix them (or what seems to cause them)...

So, if people posted these errors in this thread (or another, idc), would you update your website?

Ya, not hard to update a page and upload. If I start a new thread in the modding section, I will see it more often. I don't mean to steal your idea, but I did have an idea of doing this already.

I would like others to help and have control over the OP and access to the soase server. If you can upload with ftp and mod an html file, even in text - copy and paste a new section, let me know and I will grant access. Even make a stardock account with soase_modders as a shared login to make the OP?

Sounds like a good plan...and yeah, it should have been in the modding section, I don't know why I didn't think of that...

May as well add me. I've done a lot of web development recently so I will have no issues updating the HTML.
