Max players changes and instant wins in Galaxyforge 3 rebellion

includes forbidden planents dlc

Hi guys I've been having a problem creating my own maps with galaxy forge 3.

The first problem is that I test my maps in stages. In sins rebellion I've set my map with a max players of (10). During each test stage in game it fluctuated between 10 and 5 players. Now with the complete map its dropped to 6. (I had it to 10 with the previous stage, the only difference is that, I only added a few space junk and their phase lanes.)

The second problem is an instant win/instant loses when playing with flagship and/or capital planet victory conditions during playing this map.

I've put the map in the correct location in c drive

Comp>C>Users>Name> My Documents> My Games> Ironclad Games> SINS Rebellion>Galaxy Forge

however I've installed rebellion in d drive.

I've also put forbidden planets into this map.

I've tried the forums for an hour looking for results however I'm still at a loss.

I would greatly appreciate any help/

Regards

KV

First, you must have the DLC and have it enabled to use a map created with the DLC planets.

You say that there should be 10 players on your map.  Do you have ten "NewPlayerX-Home" worlds, or just 6?  That could be causing your problem with flagship victory (if the player doesn't exist, their flagship doesn't either) and with capital victory.

You might want to ask one of our map gurus, like DirtySanchezz.  He's the one that should be able to help you.  He's one of the people here who create custom map packs.

Also, you can't use Galaxy Forge 3 to create Rebellion maps (unless that has been updated to suit Rebellion).  You have to use the version of Galaxy Forge that came with Rebellion (Look in your Steam install directory).

It'll be in a folder called "Galaxy Forge".  If you don't use the Rebellion form of Galaxy Forge, your maps will be screwey.

Thank you for the quick reply I've got the DLC and have it enabled.

I've been using the Galaxy forge with the Rebellion (I thought that was the term used to distinguish it from its predecessor.

I also have 10 NewPlayerX-home worlds as well. -> This is what is causing my confusions.
