Can't connect to online games on ICO with DLC - Solved

Hi guys, I recently wanted to play online the DLC, but when I try to join a game that's title says ...DLC, I can't do it, it says the host and me have different version numbers..

 

Is there a new patch for Rebellion 1.5 and the DLC? If yes, why didn't Steam download that immediately? It is set to auto-upgrade stuff..

 

EDIT: SOLVED, the update was stopped, just needed to resume it.. didnt know Steam can do something like that..

Please verify that Steam is set to auto-update both you and your friend's systems.

Then verify game files through Steam.

It says update paused?????? It is set to auto-upgrade Sins Of a Solar Empire, and I tried to connect to public games, not friend games.

 

What can I do now?

 

EDIT: I am not a master of Steam, I hardly ever use this program, only for playing Sins and Endless Space, so that's why I ask these questions.

update pause automatically if you have game running ....

try restarting steam, might be he doesnt update your game until you restarted steam.

I have the game shut down for like 2 hours now, and its still paused, how to unpause? I can't see this option..

It was still paused, but I fnally found how to resume it.. was looking for other options lol, i'll post how it turns out.
