Crashing Problems After Downloading the Rebellion DLC

Recently, after I downloaded the Forbidden Worlds DLC, my game started to crash after only around 15ish minutes of playing. I've looked around for solutions and tried a few like going to the console and allowing it to access more RAM, adjusting my settings, and uninstalling Catalyst Control Center because sometimes that can cause problems. If somebody could give me some advice I'd appreciate it.

I would like to see a solution to this problem as well. The game (version 1.8, incl "Forbidden Worlds" and "Stellar Phenomena"-DLC's) crashes after about 30 Minutes, even though autosave is turned off (because this too caused my game to crash (always during the second autosave, which was at 30 Minutes as well!)). I have no mods installed (never had).

Win8 64 bit with 16 GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M

All drivers and Windows are up to date. The game is the Steam version and updates automatically, but is actually a clean install.

Autosave not working plus random crashes are really a killer for this otherwise phenomenal game.....

If it randomly crashes mid gameplay, try reducing your graphics settings a bit (Say planet detail from Highest to High). If that helps that probably tells the devs there is a ram issue somewhere.

Im really regretting buying this new DLC, I have a small mod I made. its worked perfectly with all patches and addons in the past.  I bought the new DLC last night tried playing the game and within the 15 to 20 mins window the game mini dumps out now.

 

I have looked at my mod thinking it was the problem but all of the files are correct and match up to whats in the game currently.  This is really pissing me off, I had a very stable game and mod up until now.  What is going on with this DLC?

 

Anyway to revert back and disable this DLC?

Chances are it is a problem with the mod. Please tell us what you did in the modding forum and I'm sure it can be sorted out.

I figured it out Goa,  I made changes to my mod after the DLC patch came out and it was working fine.  So after I bought the DLC IC made a slight change to the gameplay.constants file with the random events entry. So, when a random event would try to kick off, it would crash the game out with a mini dump. 

 

Its fixed now, we played a 4 hour game and didnt have any issues.
