Starting positions

So, I have recently created a 4v4 map in galaxy forge. I fixed the players teams and fixed the starting positions. the only issue I'm having is when this map is played 3v3, one person from the other team is placed on the first teams side. Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated. If the map would help for understanding I have no problem placing it up here, Id just rather have the issue told to me, i need to learn how to do this.

A. Make sure you set the Randomize Positions option in Galaxy Forge to False.

B. Be aware player-0 maps to player-1 in game, in case that screws up your alignment.

You have to set the team index -1 = random team at start 1 = team 1 at start ect.

Edit players and change your team index before you play a 3x3 game and set it back to random if you want before a 4x4 game or just assign each player a team #
