Titan Level Reset

For Forbidden Worlds

Anyone have/can make a mod to reset titan levels on destruction that works with the current version? I could only find one made earlier, and it crashes with Forbidden Worlds.

If you're referring to the one I made, I stopped updating it as a stand alone mod do to lack of interest. However, it still exists as an optional add on in my Enhanced 4X Mod, which will work with 1.52.

Your mod doesn't play nice with the AI, though =(

What does that mean? I play it myself regularly, plenty of people say the AI is better in my mod.   o_O

The game I'm on, the AI don't seem to be doing much of anything. We're hours in, the Advent guy I'm hitting doesn't have synergy for his defenses, no bases, have yet to see his fleet after blowing up two worlds. I'll try a different game if it's not the usual thing though.

Well there is occasionally reports of this even without mods? What difficulty level is the AI, keep in mind the last Rebellion patch made the normal AI a bit easier than it was before.

Unfair. They're working now though, maybe the one I was hitting just had its fleet way off.

So are there any standalone titan level reset mods out there anymore?

you were ahead of your time, there seems to be interest now. i tried to do myself but have never modded sins before. i got my entity files and converted from bin to text so i could read them, but i can't find the setting or variable in any of the files. i tried comparing it to capital ships entity file, but as near as i can tell all the discrepancies are obviously not it.

I'm afraid its not just a small file tweak. You're free to download my mod and the titan level reset minimod to see how it works, but it relies on some fairly advanced ability modding and gimmicks, its definitely not what I'd recommend for beginners.

i thought that was implied in your answer above, but didn't see how to do it. i had already downloaded your mod and compared the titan entity files with vanilla but didn't make much headway with it. i do plan on installing your mod and running for at least my next game, but right now am 30 hours into one. i just watched a level 8 titan kill 4 fully upgraded and researched orkulus at the star...after i had already killed it twice invading their territory. sigh.

how would i use just that minimod?

is there a seperate minimod download or is it part of the enhanced 4x mod?
