how to set starting locations

ok so if I have 8 starting points 5 are for one team and 3 for the ai if I want to do a game where theres only 3 actual players and only one ai how to I get the ai to spawn in the player 8 location instead of the player 4 location

assuming the map uses fixed location starts, the players use player 0-2, leave the player 3-6 blank and put the ai on player7
