Set in the Sins of a Solar Empire universe, Sins of a Solar Empire: The Legend attempts to create a story which ties the events seen in the opening videos of the original game, the Diplomacy expansion, and Rebellion, together in an epic tale filled with conflict.

 
Beginning 10 000 years ago in Vasari space, the story quickly runs through the events that led to the Vasari Exodus before jumping ahead to the expulsion of the Advent from Trader space. From there, the story settles in on October 20th, 30 years ago. The day the Vasari entered Trader Space.
 
The story then recounts the tale of three traders caught in the wrong place, at the wrong time, a fleet of mining ships cut off from their homes by the alien invaders and a rapidly decaying Order that has grown soft from a millenium of peace.

Finally, chapter 10 has arrived.
