Just sent my supposedly repaired laptop back to actually get repaired.  If and when I get a working computer again, let's play some 3's.  I was having a really good time with that mode with some people I had met during the short time I was playing League again.

Edit: Nevermind.  Got it to work after signing in.  Doing everything on an iPhone is hard!  I find it ironic that with all your hatred of assassins, it's actually a bruiser that gave you the hardest time playing against last season.

So far my flex queue experience has been infuriating. My MMR is low evidently because I end up in games with anyone from silver to plat, very rarely a diamond. Games have been impossible to carry with everyone dying in lane over and over again. I have been so fed in most of the games and it doesn't even come close to mattering. Inb4 silver III for my placement. 

Well, I finally hit that bored with a champ threshold top.  My best top lane champ is undoubtedly yorick now.  I can consistently apply the same strat (split push with pushing 2/3 lanes if doing ok).  Got enough reps in to be solid... and now I'm tired of it after 30-60 games.  Started playing some swain.  undecided on next top focus but i think top

... and back to jibba jabba.  Cut the shite out of my finger last night cleaning some tongs from hell so typing is a bit awk, but w/e.  

So here's my current league strat.  Try to minimize total roles played along with champ pool.  Biggest enemy is boredom.  Biggest gain is elo.  I've been keeping with the same strategy of queueing up top/mid.  If I get mid, I ask if I can swap with the top fella.  If not, I'm going to stay focused on a smaller pool of sometimes banned champs - syndra being my number 1 pick if she's free... then fizz, then lux... maybe add swain.

For top I'm trying to super streamline picks.  Yorick if tank/split push needed.  Camille if shes ever free.  Kled if bruiser needed and I've added in swain lately... who I'm still trying to figure out.  I think I have the general macro game down on Yorick.  I might need to be a little more judicious on when I group with him, but I'm getting very good with communicating what I'm up to so people don't repeatedly try a 4v5; other than that, I think I have most things figured out with him, which is swell (nice when you get to a point with a champ when you know exactly how much damage you do, where your power spikes are - and yoricks really nice because he can seem weak and then you just pop off).  

Camille prob needs a nerf.  You can play around her to some degree, but she demands way more respect than she should and influences who you can play against her way too much.  The only way I've seen Camilles stopped is to go tank or poppy against her and get a jungle gank or 2 in on her so the lane phase gets crushed.  If you are even, she has a big advantage.  If she falls behind, you can generally deal with her.  Wish I could play her more, but I'm lucky if I get 1 or 2 games a night w/ her.  

I feel pretty solid with Kled and I think I play him well.  I work the lane fine, I roam, I group, I go for plays when ult up, etc.  Like the champ and think he's reasonably balanced.  I also do fine with split pushing vs grouping

Swain... well, I've been watching quite a few high elo replays and am working on him.  I do a good job with mana management during laning and zone/win trades pretty easily.  I'm absolutely abysmal with figuring out when to group with him - I just don't have a good feel for it yet and the doods slow.  I still kind of blow with mana management once I get my ult as the cooldown on turing off his ult makes a pretty decent window for folks to attack... anyway, tons of stuff to learn with him and figure out.  Might put in a bunch of reps.  

Currently gold 1 in flex.

You should check out the latest version of championify if you have not already.  They added several more sites for pulling info from including lol masters and pro builds.

fizzed muh way back to p4 in the tardo queue 

well just played wingsofdeathx top lane in a promo to plat 3.  I farmed like crap.  I def could have done much better, but the loss I think landed on our shitty bot lane's shoulders for the most part.  We had a fucked up comp to boot.  Anyway, cool to bump into the fancy lads now and then.  Best so far was vs like challenger 1 or 3 on LAN, but that was some nonsense.  

holy crap does my renek need work.  Spamming him pretty much nonstop even into unfavorable matchups so I can learn them.  Took a ton of games on yorick to get used to how to play against champs so its pretty much the same with renek.  ONE of my problems is that I'm a little too ham.  Need to get my cadences down for early game in lane.  I actually do decently when I do group... some of the time anyway.

The main trick is getting some precision with his combos.  Everything, like riven (he's a slightly easier riven imo), is a string combo if you are doing it right... BUT you have to determine when to do which combo.  For example, a common combo at level 2 in its base form is E>Q>E.  The desirable form of that is E>aa>Q>E.  Being precise with that means a lot of extra dmg in trades.  

Then at lv 3, you get your E>aa>W>Q>E or E>aaW>ign>aa>Q>E.  Anyway, I need to assess better what combo to go for and trade more consistently.  Particularly as I'm taking IGN.  

The bugfix on Rend not resetting was actually just as major as the buffs IMO.  She's in a great place.

Or so it feels.  I'm still in Silver so it's hard to judge.  Sometimes my Supports are autofilled and sometimes the enemies are so that makes it harder as well.

When Riot nerfed her before they only ruined her for lower skilled players like myself and for SoloQ so she stayed OP in competitive before they completely gutted her.  Now they've buffed her in a way that mostly helps scrubs so hopefully she won't become pick/ban in the LCS and I can keep maining her.

Well, we got bad dong to place in gold IV for solo/duo.  I placed silver 1 and bumped up to gold V after a few games in solo/duo.  Sitting in plat IV on flex atm.  

Mostly spamming mid ATM looking to play kat or fizz.  My kat game is still pretty meh, but usually good enough for the elo.  Fizz is prob my best champ atm. I dropped reps on talon as I've decided I'm crap w/ him.
