It's a little bit insulting that they feel the need to shove the trademark in my face in my library. It really does make me feel like they're scared of me stealing their trademark.
How big is your screen and what resolution are you running at? Unless you're at around 1024x768, I don't see how a single extra character in the same 16pt bold font as the rest of the title can be "in your face". Plus it's a registered trademark character (circled R), which is actually smaller than the trademark character (TM).
If that 16pt circled R in bold font is such an eyesore, you could always use a different library view: the pane view displays game titles in 12pt regular font, while tile view omits the game title entirely, all you see is the game's logo.
In all seriousness though, you should get used to seeing both types of trademark characters in product/brand titles. Their purpose is to remind people that they can't just make their own knock-off products and slap someone else's brand on them. It has absolutely nothing to do with theft. You don't "steal" a trademark. No, you violate trademarks, and the only way to do that is more like false impersonation than theft.
Just a heads up, when you demand product creators sacrifice legal protection just because you don't like the way a single character looks in the product's name, don't be surprised when people laugh in your face and/or call you a spoiled brat.
