Guys, I think I figured out the Strategy!

1. Pick Advent Rebels

2. Make sure capital victory is on.

3. Expand slowly and carefully, and build nothing but civic labs at your planets.

4. Research Wail of the Sacrificed.

5. Scuttle a frigate factory on your homeworld and build a culture center instead.

6. Wait for the enemy fleet to arrive one jump from your spawn. Wail your homeworld and inflict massive damage on the enemy fleet. After that, they should have nothing left to stop you!   ;P
