I tried to add new sub block in Vasari Defense field, but no matter what I do, in the game it does not change... Does the so called "block count" really play a role?

I change the position between the block I add and the normal block the result is the new block was showed instead the normal one.

Thanks for your time to see my post and answer my question.

Unfortunately, my attempts to do something similar to the Diplomacy tree also failed. It seems these two tech trees will only recognize one block for whatever reason. Fortunately you can make the single block as big as you like, so you can leave a blank row to sort of simulate a new block.

Isn't there a limit to the displayable # of researches rows: 9 or 10? Can't remember for sure.

You can also change the graphic that's displayed in the tree section to be one solid image instead of the one that is stretched.

Yes I have to give up my former plan about blocks now. But a new question, just like ZombiesRus5 said, the position of a tech could only from 0 to 9. Even you enlarge the only block as big as you wish, you can not put a tech at the coordinate of [x, 10] which will not be recognized.
