Hello fellow friends,
It cause to my attention that a Sins of a Solar Empire 2 petition has come into play. Hehehe! It is in development. My expectations are high. See with the success of Sins of a Solar Empire 1, we all know that Sins of a Solar Empire 2 has been in constant development. All of these "games," being released by Stardock are just test cases for the true game.
Ashes of the Singularity - Combat Engine
OffWorld Trading Company - Trade
SodA - Multiplayer
Gal Civ 3 - Grand Strategy
It is has all come down to Since of a Solar Empire 2
Sins of a Solar Empire 2 Single Player
A game which will be the ultimate simulation where you will be able to zoom down on a captain of one of your capital ships and have dialog options mass effect style. Yes folks, that's right we have Role Playing Power. An interwoven plot all between all the races, Vasari, TEC and Advent, all happening concurrently, fully voice acted. You gain insight into these portraits you saw from Sins of a Solar Empire 1. At any point in time you can zoom out and continue your grand campaign from a macro level, focusing on the political leaders.
Here's where it get's better.
Sins of a Solar Empire 2 Multi Player
A full mmo no mans sky style, with undiscovered planets to explore with your ship. You start as one guy but can gain an army through leveling up your main rank from Luetenent, Captain, Col, in an almost roleplaying style system. Unlock different techs through the tech tree and compete against 1000s of people at the same time in a massive shared Galaxy experience like No Mans Sky meets Eve Online. But there are three distinct factions. You have the real leaders of this opening. Different areas will have different benefits and you face against random events happening all the time. And it is all happening live. No rest, no relaxation. Pirate implementation could be a mercenary system where you can hire yourself out by any faction.
Of course the game remains to be mod friendly and servers are hostable by community, and has future support for AI implementation on the if you ever wanted to hose your own server, with guaranteed support for the next 10 years as it is 64-bit and scale to generate a random universe the size of 16 Exabytes)
There's my pitch!
