Hello I have an Error Im not sure how to fix thru the mod
The error is from too many capitol ships.
lan game with my son 4 players total 2 human 2 AI
1st AI Vassari normal
2nd AI Vassari Hard
4 player, 1 player per star
custom: 4 blue stars, each star consited same properties 5 clusters
1st cluster pirate base - 1
2nd cluster Crazy Planets (not fair) planet count 10
3rd cluster Crazy Planets (not fair) planet count 10
4th cluster Crazy Planets (not fair) planet count 10
5th cluster Crazy Planets (not fair) planet count 10
both human player tec loyalist ability to crew derelict ships
I crewed 3 derilict graveyards for a total of 15 extra capitol ships without having capitol ship capacity researched yet. I then did the resear for largest fleet size for 30 capitol ships. I build 16 of them then started getting excusiating lag in the game till finally we saved and exited. We reloaded the game and game did not load instead it did a crash dump. I looked in my documents folder into the game folder in that location; user-documents-mygames-ironclad games-sins-debug
found this line in multiple debug files
Slot ACTION_CAPITALSHIP_OPENMANAGEINTERNALS can't be setup over ACTION_CAPITALSHIP_ABILITY_4.
from what I know of coding this means that I created more that the core game script allows for the capitol ships, meaning crewing derelict ships to go over the max amount researched is not allowed.
so here is the big question, is there a way to temporarily thru the crazy or any other mod alter the base script of the core files to allow the added ships without fubaring the game as a whole while the mod is not active.

i have email alerts enabled send me a message I have the files required to recreate in a 7z file files included are the map, the dump file, the latest debug file, a text file explaning everything that happened and the game times that they occured I can include a cpuid report for the machine specs if needed as I dont think the sysinfo tool is as well defined in the info given also quite useless in this situation most tech support staff ask for it and dont know how to read it anyway. I write machine language in my sleep and can translate most errors without it. another problem i see is the amount of useless audio piped from the game for each ship created. is there a way when say 20 or more ships are in a que to build o set the audio to inform when the que has finished?
the reason I ask is as a hardware diagnostic tech I find most lag is caused by audio not from the graphics as much, most builders add in a secondary video card to handle the intense file load leaving the audio to be piped strait to the pci bus and cpu first where as the grahpics are already processed before being put to the pci bus and sent to the cpu. most builders dont add a secondary audio card to hande the intence load of the sound files.
hair brained idea...... look into the compression tech of windows 10 and how most of the windows files stay compressed untill needed and used then recompressed after use. this would shave a huge load of the memory and pagefile as well as making the game run smoother concidering this game has the highest file count I have ever seen.
