No update on that yet. What's getting in the way is my senior citizen status. Because I came to my situation a year too early my actual coverage doesn't begin until after the 24th of December, which happens to be my 64th birthday. I'm being given the opportunity to get in on certain programs that much earlier. I already have full prescription coverage, hospital coverage, plus a few other perks that I don't remember off hand. All in all I'd say that's not too shabby.

Also transportation is an issue as I stated in a previous post. Until all my shit kicks in after the twenty fourth I'm stuck paying full price to get to where I need to go and that ain't cheap, believe it or not. At any rate I will be getting there soon. My daughter,who is limping about at the moment, she dropped a really heavy skillet on her foot, has an account with Lyft, a kind of taxi service. I'll be able to use that. Fingers crossed peeps. Lol

Back in the day an ambulance ride didn't cost you a dime. You paid the hospital bill, which was about five percent of what it is now, and that included the ride. When I was about ten or so I was in the car with my family on our way home after a New Years Eve party at my aunts house. Two blocks from home my dad's car get broad sided by a dude who ran a red light. My dad's car was a 1959 Cadillac with the big fins and bullet tail lights. It was totaled. Bumps and bruises were the worst of it and we were all home by day break. Two days later the hospital calls and they want me there ASAP. I had hit my head on the cars roof and an X-ray taken of mine cranium revealed a hair line fracture. I spent the night under observation by a Chinese Doctor. I found out he was the head of neuro surgery. 

So Im thinking that may be the cause of my insanity. What you think?
