The Offworld Discord server is hosting a New Player's Tournament on December 2nd (20:00 GMT, 15:00 EST).
If you recently picked up the game and are trying to find your way around OTC multiplayer, this is an excellent opportunity to compete under tournament conditions against players of similar skill level.
General qualification principle is that all players who have not participated in one of our previous FFA tournaments are welcome to join. However, wildcards may be handed out to players who don't necessarily meet these criteria but would fit the format based on their current level.
The tournament will be played on Mars using standard multiplayer settings (reveal map, medium size, random prices, masquerade) over 5 rounds. (Duration is roughly 3.5 hours.) Before you sign up, please make sure that you will be available for all 5 rounds.
All games will be casted by experienced players who will analyze the matches and provide tips and feedback to help you improve.
Players and subs will be expected to check-in here on discord 20 minutes before the start of the tournament. Failure to check-in before 19:40 GMT (14:40 EST) may result with you being replaced by a sub.
