Adjacency question

I have a Helios Ore deposit.  It has a +2 Starship Construction adjacency bonus.  I build a Starport next to it and get the bonus. Then I build a Helios Ore extractor on the deposit.  The starport itself has a +2 Starship Construction adjacency bonus. It doesn't benefit the extractor.  Okay.  (Really?)

Then I build a Factory next to the Starport.  The Factory has a +1 All Construction adjacency bonus. That's ALL Construction.  The Starport gets no bonus.

Riddle me these, please.

An image would help. Btw, certain improvements don't have adjacency level. Those special resource node on a planet doesn't has level on their own. They can only provide.

Okay, let's make this simple.  No illustration required.

Should a Factory (+1 All Construction) adjacent to a Starport (Ship Construction) provide its bonus to the Starport? i.e. to Ship Construction. 

Yes or no?

the starport is of Type "Military"(Ship Construction) and SecondaryType "MaxManufacturing"(All Construction),

factorys give NeighborBonus to "MaxManufacturing",

so yes they should.

(At least in Retribution 3.8)

 

Which version/dlc do you play?

You also didn't explain what game, DLCs, and Expansion you're having and which version of the game you're currently on. You making this harder by yourself.

Crusade 3.8.  The Tutorial scenario.  Most DLCs installed.  I'm not trying to demonstrate a bug; I'm asking for confirmation of the rule.  If it's suppose to provide a bonus and didn't then that's a bug, not a point of controversy.

FWIW, in the MW campaign it works as expected.  MW, however, doesn't use Crusade, AFAICT.  E.g. no Helios Ore; no Extractors.

BTW, under Crusade the MW campaign is messed up in other ways.  See the 3.7 Bug List [sic] in Support.

Factories have always given Starports adjacency bonuses for me, but I remember the Campaign on Retribution was different.  Sometimes for the better, actually.   Also, Helios Ore mines have never benefitted from adjacency bonuses.  The interface draws the little arrows implying that they should, but they don't.

Thanks.  Now I'm curious.  I'll try to re-create the problem.
