It is natural to be "smashed" when someone enters multiplayer, where all kinds of skill plains play all together. But I reassure you, that after 5-10 games, no matter how "uncompetetive" your sp games were, you will be at the very least in the lower skill base of sins community.
There are very few players, who actually play it competitively, while the vast majority are all casual players.
